Hands down the best experience I've had in two decades of car service. Just moved into Norwalk a couple blocks away and choose them based on location. I would now drive an hour just to come back to them.
My wife and I have been taking our cars to AAMCO for 20 years. Steve and Clara have treated us like family (actually better than family). They do great work, they're fast, and most of all HONEST. There have been a few times over the years when I thought my van was in dire straits, and was told that the problem was much MUCH less than I thought. Both in severity and in price. That's why this is the only review I've ever written on Google Plus. They deserve it. And now my son takes HIS care there as well!

They inspected my car and recommended just required services for the car. Transmission fluid change has been done on my first trip and will set this place as my to go mechanic shop moving forward.

When it was time to change brake pads on my 2007 Toyota, I decided on AAMCO Norwalk purely based on the 5-star reviews I read here. Let me add my voice to the choir - Steve has a way about him that immediately makes the customers feel comfortable. In a business that sometimes gets an bad rap, Steve is an honest and knowledgeable guy who takes the time to get to know his customers, and is sincerely interested in keeping people happy and driving safely. Two thumbs up!
I highly recommend this shop. My 2008 Jeep Wrangler needed a large repair job. The original quote from Chrysler Dealer was twice the man hours than AAMCO in Norwalk quoted me. Just goes to show you how dishonest others are in this business and how HONEST Steve is. Thanks for the great job. Jeep running great now.
