I waited less than two minutes to have my license renewed and the woman who assisted me was extremely courteous, efficient and friendly. I also stupidly left my checkbook there (which I never bring with me but was not sure if credit cards could be used for license renewals) and they called me the next morning to say that they had found it. My husband and I are fairly new AAA members, but after my positive experience at the Westport branch and seeing what they services they had to offer in addition to license renewals, I will definitely visit them in the future for travel planning, discount tickets, etc.
I recently (Aug 2014) stopped into the Westport branch to pick up tickets for Six Flags New England. There was a small line but it moved quickly. The amount I saved on the amusement park tickets almost paid for my entire membership renewal. You would be amazed how much you can save with AAA membership. I don't mean saving money on things you don't need; I mean saving money on things you are planning to do anyway...that is what I call real savings. Spending money to save is not saving anything! With AAA you get real discounts and you have emergency road service in case you need it. I don't normally need it because my insurance company provides the service.
AAA agent was courteous and got me in and out as quickly as possible with my transaction. I came in at a time when many people wanted licenses and even though I had to wait, it wasn't terribly long. As usual, great friendly service.
I went into the Westport office for the first time recently, and wanted to take a minute to say how helpful and friendly the staff were, and although they did not have one of the items on my list, everything else was just great! Thank you for realizing the importance of good customer service. Great job!
Renewed my license in under five minutes! Both of the people that I spoke with when I was there were beyond friendly and courteous. It was an example of perfect customer service. If this is the way I was treated as a non-customer, I can only imagine the service for members. I will be signing up for AAA.
